Too sweet for words but let us try.  Hope recently (3/4) had her first day out at adoptions.  She was so timid we had to carry her outside for a potty-break in a shopping cart.  Before long she started perking up her ears to the sound of children.  Soon she was resting her chin on any soft, warm lap she could find.  Hope is a very gentle lady and would love to be loved on by a family, large or small.  She gets along very well with other dogs as she is quite submissive.  Hope is eager to find a new home to share.

Frannie is an adult, female Black Lab mix. Annie is very laid back getting along with all the other dogs. She travels well by car and very quiet. Frankly, she has sat quietly in her run for a very long time while more demonstrative dogs get the attention and the trips to adoption. 10/15/05 was her first chance to go to adoption day and she was terrific. Likes everyone and easy on lead. Annie is fully vetted and ready for her new home

Sadie is a female Black Lab. I'm friendly - housebroken and I love other dogs and kids.  I love to play with soft toys.  I will be 1 yr old in July.  My mamma was a street dog but very smart.  She's spayed now & so am I.  I only bark when I'm supposed to and I'm crate trained.  I'm really anxious to find a new home. I am fully vetted so I can go home whenever you are ready.

BELLA - Bella is a 4-5 year old Black Lab female. She is crate trained and house trained. Bella was found nearly starved to death but taking care of her five pups. The pups have been adopted and now it is Bella's turn. Bella has had a hard life - apparently so bad that she appears to be thriving at the pound as she is the only one to put on weight. We suspect she survived by hunting small animals so, although she is not aggressive, we do not think she should be around cats or small dogs. Poor Bella has received little in her life - we are looking for someone who will spend the time to help her reach the potential we know she has from how well her 12 month old pups have developed.  Her daughter Harley was introduced to AKC tracking and on her first track completed a 125 yard track with "S" curves and a right hand turn and gave good indication of the article. Harley is being "fostered" but her foster will not consider letting her go to anyone but a qualified Search and Rescue team - Bella shows the same great nose and ability. Bella is heartworm positive and on Heartgard. Our vet says she will be heartworm free in another 12 months. She is fully vetted and ready to go home.
