Our critical are on the home page!!!!!

Fosters: this spring we got 10 litters and have recently lost three of our fosters so we have 22 pups returned to the pound where we already have several litters - we do not have any room for them. WE ARE DESPERATE FOR FOSTERS. The pups do very badly in this environment - a number has died due to the heat.

Igloo type dog houses: They can be easily sterilized and we desperately need them -we have several standalone runs where the only shelter the dogs have is a solar cover and they are exposed to the thunderstorms - condition does not matter as long as they provide shelter - call us and we will pick them up.

$$$$$ - We need to build a new bank of runs but vet bills keep us in the hole. Our overflow ends up at the vet at $150 an animal per month! We currently have 20 animals at the vet at this time and will probably have to put some of the 22 pups that are back at the pound because we lost 3 fosters.

         Postage stamps.

Shop at Kroger - please print off this card and present when you shop. There is no additional cost to you and the animals get 5% of every purchase - a painless way to help.

    • Spay or neuter your pets - put us out of business - please!

    ·        Foster - give them the gift of time - a great way to help

o       It is the hardest job you will ever love - you'll love taking in a hopeless animal and seeing it heal and their personality blossom - the hard part is the the mixed feelings of seeing it go off with their forever family - and then the joy of starting with a new foster

    ·          Adopters take note - we love getting updates and seeing them again - please stop by

    ·        Sponsor -  Select the dog, make a monthly donation. All sponsors are listed on the writeups

    ·        Donate - Your contributions pay for: vet bills, food, improvements in pound conditions, kenneling*

o             $5 will pay for one days board at a commercial kennel (at a discounted price)

o           *$35 will pay for a week of board - we can board few animals, the rest are returned  to the pound -  fostering and boarding is the only way we can be sure a dog will get a chance to be adopted

o             $60 will pay for a spay or neuter

    ·        Donate  used items -  the collar your dog outgrew, a toy, an old bed which will give them something softer than concrete to rest on, and  food or treats - Zeke's supplies the food for the pound and these dogs are not picky. Old hard and wire crates. Everything helps allow us to save our funds for vet and kennel bills.

    ·        Be a Volunteer at Petsmart - no experience necessary - the dogs will love you for it

To date the Zeke Fund Animal Rescue has avoided euthanizing any animals but several have died waiting for a chance at adoption.  If you are interested in one of our pets please do not hesitate. Most of the dogs are at the pound and not in our control. If the dog is one that is in progress let us know and we will prioritize their vetting so they can go to adoption and you can meet them.

The sad reality is there are more pets in Houston, Texas than there are families that want them:
