Welcome to our favorite links Many are other rescue organizations: if you see a pet that appeals to you please contact them immediately. One of our volunteers found a pet on a Tuesday but was busy with the demands of work and figured that they could pick her up on the weekend. They called on Friday for directions and found she had been euthanized Thursday, one day prior. Please do not let that happen to you. The shelters are staffed by people that work very hard day after day to save as many pets as possible but they work under the reality that there are more pets than families that want them and deadlines over which they have no control. A phone call can make all the difference - the life you save could be your best friends.
