Phil is Marie's husband - he has no idea of all he has done!  We are a small group of volunteers committed to changing the plight of the dogs and cats of Brookshire from one of certain death to giving every homeless dog and cat pet a chance for adoption.  As of Feb 2007 we have not had to bear any being euthanized but our situation is critical. Our fosters are full - our founder, Marie, is currently fostering 22 dogs in addition to seven strays and her own two dogs. The pound is full with 3x6' runs holding multiple dogs and the second phase of pound expansion is behind schedule because we are waiting for city approval. If you are looking for a companion please consider one of our pets - you will be amazed how much appreciation they will show.
